Position Summary: Performs all aspects of patient care in an environment that optimizes patient safety and reduces the likelihood of medical/healthcare errors.
Ability to formulate an individualized plan of care, revise plan as indicated by the patient's response to treatment, and evaluation overall plan daily for effectiveness.
Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate to care team, provider, patient and family following chain of command as appropriate.
Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
Works as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient protecting patient's rights.

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Licenses: Licensed by the state as a radiation operator; Registered by ARRT as aRadiologic Technologis; CI or RCIS – preferred
  • Certifications:  BLS; ACLS - obtained within 6 months of hire
  • Minimum Work Experience: Minimum of one year experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab - preferred
