What you’ll do:

The Employee Relations Partner is responsible for managing workplace concerns and conducting thorough, impartial investigations into complaints related to employee conduct, discrimination, harassment, workplace conflicts, and other policy violations. This role ensures compliance with employment laws and regulations while fostering a positive workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities

Investigations:

  • Conduct timely and objective investigations into employee complaints, including harassment, discrimination, retaliation, and other workplace issues.
  • Interview employees, witnesses, and other relevant parties to gather facts.
  • Review and analyze relevant documentation, such as emails, performance records, and policies.
  • Partner with ER leadership team to resolve and give recommendations on ER matters.

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of investigations, including notes, evidence, and conclusions.
  • Prepare comprehensive investigation reports with findings and recommendations.

Policy and Compliance:

  • Ensure investigations align with company policies, legal standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Advise ER leadership team on outcomes, corrective actions, and best practices for resolving workplace issues.

Employee Relations Support:

  • Act as a resource for local PS leaders, employees and managers to address concerns and clarify policies.
  • Provide training on workplace behavior, conflict resolution and employee relations topics.

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with employee relations leadership team, legal counsel, and local facility leadership to resolve employee relations matters.
  • Recommend updates to policies or procedures based on investigation trends or findings.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field (required).
  • Advanced degree or HR certifications (e.g., PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP) are a plus.

Experience:

  • 3-5 years of experience in employee relations, HR investigations, or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and workplace best practices.
